Robert Folkes

Robert Folkes has over 20 years experience in Information Technology during which time he has been successful in Sales, IS management and consulting in Europe, the USA and Australia. 

Robert has extensive experience in sales having successfully generated profit from hardware, software and service business. He has worked with large accounts and in particular in energy, banking and insurance industries as well as having enjoyed considerable success with sales to universities and pharmaceutical research.   He has particular experience in introducing new and complex technologies to market and building small start-up operations.

Robert is Commerical Director of Psymetrix Ltd.
He is also a member of the governing council of the University of Cambridge Computer Laboratory Graduate Association
Robert holds a Masters Degree in Computer Science from Cambridge University. His initial technical specialisation was high performance computer graphics systems.

His passions are skiing, food, wine and his wife, auriel .

Robert presently divides his time between London (Stansted Airport), Edinburgh and Marseilles.
